This ensures we keep you and others safe whilst on our site. If you have any queries regarding your safety, please ask your line manager or Site/Production Manager. You will be required to sign as having read and understood this briefing – if in doubt ASK. Next Deliveries & Collections You MUST report to the Site Office on arrival You MUST sign in/out as requested and display a pass when required DO NOT use hazard lights whilst driving on site Please adhere to the 5MPH site speed limit at all timesNext Smoking and/or vaping are ONLY permitted in designated areasNext When working on site please do NOT use personal headsets with music or phone connected – your attention will be elsewhere and you put yourself and others in dangerNext Fever have a ZERO tolerance of drugs and/or alcohol whilst working on site.NextAccidents and Near Misses MUST be reported to the Production Office The Site First Aid Kit is held in the Production Office NextPersonal Protective Equipment MUST BE WORN on the site at all times. The MINIMUM for this site is: • Hi-Viz Vest • Safety Footwear Your tasking may require you to wear additional PPE including: • Hard Hat • Ear Defenders • Gloves • Safety Harness • Dust Mask Next Key Safety Statements • Risk Assessments and Method Statements for the task being carried out MUST be followed at ALL times • Please read all signs and adhere to guidance whilst on site, they are there to keep everyone safe • Be aware of others working around you • DO NOT enter working zones unless authorised to do so • Do not interfere with safety infrastructure such as fencing, signage or fire Fighting Equipment unless tasked to do so • No staff shall be under the influence of alcohol or drugs whilst at work Next Key Safety Statements • Site Speed Limit is 5MPH • DO NOT use hazard lights whilst driving on site • Banksmen MUST be used when reversing or positioning onto restricted spaces • Only 1 designated person to signal/banksmen vehicles at any one time • Loads MUST be secured before moving on site • If the vehicle is fitted with a seat belt it MUST be used when moving • Staff/contractors must NOT ride in trailers, back of pick up or on forks at ANY time Next Key Safety Statements • Working at Height is a HIGH-RISK work activity – ensure that you are fully aware of the Risk Assessment before Working at Height • Rigging or climbing hats MUST be worn when working at height – chin straps must be clipped • All access equipment MUST be checked before use and fit for purpose – if in doubt, ASK Next Key Safety Statements • All accidents and/or near misses MUST be reported to the Production Office • The use of personal music devices are NOT permitted when working • Smoking/Vaping are only permitted in the designated area • The site has multiple teams working, please take care of others as well as yourself Next Working at Height All Working at Height MUST be planned in advance and included in your Risk Assessments You MUST take care that your actions do not endanger others – have you thought about - Location? Someone to foot the ladder? Your PPE? Loose tools that could fall? Next Safety Signage & Information You will see a number of safety signs and information across the site Please read carefully and do not assume that they are all the same Do not tamper with or alter any signage unless authorised to do so Your Security Make sure you do not leave tools or equipment unsecured Do not leave keys in unattended plant, machinery or vehicles Next Welfare There are dedicated staff toilets on site for your use Please use the handwash/sanitiser facilities installed We request that you use re-useable water bottles to avoid single use plastic – make sure you stay hydrated Dress for the weather - use sun cream and hat in sunny weather Crew welfare area is available for your use – please take care of it and keep it tidy Please try to keep the site clean and tidy – dispose of litter appropriately Next COVID-19 COVID-19 is still affecting us in the event world to try and remain safe and well please adhere to the following: The main symptoms of COVID-19 are now as follows: • a high temperature or shivering (chills) – a high temperature means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature) • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste • shortness of breath • feeling tired or exhausted • an aching body • a headache • a sore throat • a blocked or runny nose • loss of appetite • diarrhoea • feeling sick or being sick If you have any of the above and think you have COVID-19 please stay away from site and ideally seek a confirmatory test if available to you. Do not put others and the event at risk by spreading COVID-19 if you know you are infected. Ensure good ventilation if in our offices or sharing a vehicle, wash or sanitise your hands regularly and if you prefer to wear a mask whilst working alongside others please do so.
